I’m back!! We just had TTC re-side the remainder of our home. A couple windows also required new framing and recapping. Thank you to Dave, Dominic and Rob for this excellent work. We HIGHLY recommend Thomas Tyler Construction. I am VERY fortunate to have hired Thomas Tyler Construction. It began with interviewing for a low deck beside our existing one. Melissa from TT arrived prepared with anything and everything I’d need to Hire On The Spot!! Through Melissa I also hired Thomas Tyler Construction for some re-siding, new storm door installation and complete repair under our porch overhang. My deck was damaged after being hit by a tree. I search around for a while, spoke to several companies and whittled it down to too. And I ended up going with TTC after speaking with Dominic. Upon providing the quote he walked me through everything, directly and clearly. He told me about the possible options and was not pushy. It also helped that he is personable, which for me isn’t a requirement for good business but is appreciated. I was scheduled a few months out which was explained up front and when the time came the crew that worked on the job overseen by Glen worked very efficiently. There were some hiccups which can happen with any large project but Dominic made sure they were explained to my satisfaction and understanding. They were also resolved. I’d suggest I’d you have any decking needs you definitely give TTC a call and ask for Dominic, tell him I sent you. I had to edit my review to 3 stars although I’d give them 3.5. The work was good, however, there were 2 issues after the work was done. A light had to be taken down to do the work and it was broken in the process and no one told me. And a lot of damage was done to an exterior wall of my house when removing the old deck. It’s under the deck and I hadn’t noticed for some time because I’m rarely under the deck. So the work was good but make sure you do a lot of checking after it’s all done.

My wife and I, want to thank Dominic,Glenn,Wallace, Rusty and crew for our new sunroom as it is everything that we wanted. Excellent craftsmanship with detailed style and appeal. If your looking for a construction company that will make it happen with reasonable pricing and quality workmanship we recommend Thomas Tyler to all our friends. 5 Stars *****

Excellent work. Tore down and rebuilt deck in one day. Three men worked a 12 hr day to finish the job.

I am very pleased with the final product with Thomas Tyler. The contractors were very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that I was pleased. I have had so many compliments since the deck has been installed. I’d like to personally thank the owner and management for coming up with a fantasic deck design. It far surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend Thomas Tyler.

My old lady scheduled a time for them to give us a quote. I took off of work for this scheduled time. They never answered their phone and didn’t even show up. I understand they can be busy etc. It’s more professional if they answer the calls. Their customer service for me wasn’t professional since no answer r call from them. Even tho my girlfriend set the appointment with them. I guess that doesn’t mean much for them.

We contacted Thomas Tyler over a month ago for a small job. We recently experienced a tragedy related to the job and were hoping to get the job done locally, and in a timely manner. We were also planning a few repairs and renovations to porch and deck going forward and were hoping to develop a mutually beneficial relationship. Initial call and consultation was fast and everyone was really friendly. We told them about what happened in the hopes that they would understand how important it is that we get the job done. After a phone consultation we were told we could expect a quote within a week. It has been several months since the consult (March 12), and we have yet to hear back despite leaving a message, speaking with an office attendant and sending texts directly to the person who handled our phone consultation (per the person’s request). We realize it is the busy season for contractors and we are patient people but we are pretty disappointed. I never write poor reviews, as I would not want to mess with someone’s livelihood. I am really hoping this gets the attention of someone who can help us. I would be happy to revise/update this.

Joan was very nice when scheduling our estimate, event though it was a three week wait. I had to leave work early to accommodate their 4pm schedule. The sales representative then showed up 2-1/2 hours late and needed to borrow my tape measure to measure my house for the quote. He seemed to be knowledgeable and said to get back to us with a quote in a “couple days.” This was almost 2 weeks ago and we still have not heard anything. We decided to use another company without waiting for their estimate due to the lack of responsiveness and communication. They did not leave us with a good first impression. Joan gets a five star review for her friendliest, however the company gets a 2 star.

Thomas Tyler Construction built us a sunroom and new deck in 2018. The quality of their work was good. We are happy with the deck and sunroom. Domenic was very thorough and responsive throughout the project. When when one of the deck boards popped a few months after the work they came out and fixed it quickly. Their cost for the job was reasonable compared to other contractor’s quotes. We did have some issues with how long the project took as there were some lags ( a couple months longer than expected) and some work wasn’t done exactly to specs but Domenic made some adjustments to our satisfaction. Looking back Thomas Tyler although not perfect did a good job, and I would recommend them to others for decks and sunrooms.
