From consultation through construction and inspection the whole process was smooth, stress free and very professional. The deck turned out amazing and the construction crew went out of their way to make some accommodations which was greatly appreciated.

Built a deck at my house before I owned it. Seemed nice enough when they came to look at some issues. Now they never answer their phone or return calls. Totally annoying.

While we had a good experience with our deck installation it came to light about a year later that they used the wrong fasteners and now those fasteners are popping. Freeborne has not taken any responsibility in correcting their error and has been extremely unresponsive.

We went with Freeborne Decking because we heard good things about them. The build took a little longer than expected but it was mostly due to the permitting process of my town. Scott & team did a great job installing the deck with the Trex RainEscape system. The deck itself looks great but I just wish they did some finishing touches like install the few pavers that go around the footing holes they had dug up. Speaking of the footings, the guys that dug them, threw the dirt and rocks along the back side of my fence where I was building a small retaining wall. There was no communication with me about it. We later asked them to remove the dirt debris and they said they don’t do that but they could move it elsewhere. We asked them to do so and after a week they never came so I did it myself for 3 hours in the hot sun. We also found nails and screws laying around the build site. I have small children and don’t want them to step on anything that can potentially hurt them. Lastly, we were told we would get a picture frame like in the design. When we asked why it didn’t happen, we were told you can’t do that with the RainEscape system. That’s fine, but I wish there was better communication. I think they did a decent job but I expected just a little more for a $35k+ job.

Gary from Freeborne Deck was extremely helpful and professional. They were easy to contact and knew what I wanted with barely a word. Their contractors did an excellent job, working efficiently and cleanly to get the job done in a timely manner. I’m a perfectionist but I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with their work. We are very happy with their work.

Everything was good at first and in less than one year the deck planks started popping up. I been calling then for the past 6 months leaving messages and no return calls at first he told me that he was going to send someone to look at it and I still waiting six months later.

Just had our deck replaced and expanded by Freeborne. From start to finish everything was flawless and professional. Gary the sales rep listened to all our requests and executed them. Scott, Kevin, and Jose were great, and the build is exactly what we envisioned. Can’t recommend them enough.

Lenny was fast and quick! His crew was in and out and I had my deck up in no time at all! I actually had to chase him down to pay him which is actually refreshing. Fully insured and took care of all the permits which I really love. Will definitely have him back to do the lighting when its time. Thank you so much!
