after reading reviews, I chose Edmar for my tuckpointing. in late April 2024 we made an appointment in five days. Pete showed up on time, very professional and gave a written proposal. we needed tuckpointing on the front and sides of our brick bungalow and needed an old window removed and bricked in. They came to work when they said they would, were polite and professional. It’s easy to communicate with them by phone or email. They got the permit and seemed unruffled by that process. They finished June 2. The work looks great. It cost around $4,000.

Edmar has now done brick replacement twice on our chimney and both times were great. They have great communication and employees that will do a solid job at a reasonable price. We contacted so many local masonry and could not have been more disappointed in their quotes and some that didn’t even show up after making an appointment. It’s hard to believe some of these places stay in business, but I highly recommend Edmar and we won’t even be getting quotes from other companies anymore we will just stick with what works and that is Edmar Masonry.

Highest prices of all estimates. If you don’t hire them, they constantly send misleading and harassing communications to try to scare homeowners into using their services. AVOID!!

My husband and I had a great experience with Edmar hiring them for concrete work! The gentleman who came out to provide a quote did so the same day and project turnaround time was super fast. The work turned out well and we were super appreciative as it needed to get done in order to start another project before Winter. We will be using them again and since I am a Realtor, I will also be recommending them to my clients in need of concrete or tuckpointing jobs.

I’m only giving this company 5 stars because 6 is not an option. By far the best customer service I’ve ever received!! From the phone call, to the consultation, the work performed, the COMMUNICATION…..it was all perfect, and performed in a timely manner. I wish EVERY contractor I’ve dealt with would be as great as Edmar!! I’ll be recommending this company every chance I get, and look forward to working with them in the future. Following the work we had done with Edmar, we added a water spigot to the side of the house. My negligence caused some of the houses original mortar around a brick to be knocked loose. I called Edmar to find out how much it would cost to have the one brick tuckpointed (It wasn’t work they did, nor was it their fault the mortar came loose) and they offered to fix it at NO CHARGE. Just unbelievable customer service pleased to have dealt with them, and looking forward to working with them on our next masonary project!!!

Great work, done professionally! Lintel replacement, chimney tuck pointing and some basement brick work repair. An excellent crew did excellent work. All in two days!

I rarely write reviews, but I just had to this time because I have never worked with a company of such solid integrity. Last year the owner Mr. Marciszewski gave me his opinion on a solution to a brick problem. He even dissuaded me from having extra work done by his company because he thought it unnecessary. The work was done professionally and efficiently, but unfortunately did not truly solve the issue. He came back out, admitted something was clearly not right, and apologized saying he would get back to me when the weather warmed — it was still quite cold then. His office communicated with me each step of the way. There was no evasion or minimizing my concerns. He then came up with a solution that wasn’t perfect but very workable. Most companies would not stand by their work product in a remotely similar way. I am beyond impressed and have already given friends a referral to this company.

I called for an estimate for parapet wall tuckpointing and arranged to meet Ed, the owner, at the site. Very knowledgeable, very professional man. His proposal was very thourough and the price was competitive. THe team that completed the work, Andy and Martin, were really great. THey arrived on time and their work was first rate. As a retired architect I have inspected masonry work for decades and this was among the best. Totally painless experience working with EDMAR and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thomas S.
