Drake and his team have just finished up a job that I waited WAY too long to schedule. I bought a home in El Dorado Hills in July 2021 intending to get the deck (originally built in 1968) removed and reworked. The rework was completed today and I couldn’t be more delighted. Mine is not like the large ones that I’d seen see on Drake’s reviews with lots of stairs and railings, and working around trees. Mine is a small 16’ x 17’ area. Because of the intense heat that hit the old deck, I wanted a sort of pergola “ceiling” that would provide some protection from the sun, but not change the light coming into the house. See the before and after photos attached. What a difference this has made. And, to top it off, Drake and his team arrived on time and stayed until the end of the day. They were easy to work with and willing to answer a whole lot of questions. I’m delighted. Can’t recommend DAU Construction highly enough!

Drake and his crew were the best- could not have asked for a better builder. I needed a deck completely gutted and rebuilt and it turned out amazing using Timbertech decking. From start to finish he was easy to work with, stayed within my budget and the project was completed timely, as promised. Arrived on time daily and was easy to communicate with along the way. He will be my go-to guy for future projects!

DAU Construction replaced a fairly large, dilapidated deck on the front of my home. Estimate was timely and detailed. Very helpful suggestions that kept me within my budget. They arrived right on time every single day. They worked very hard to get the job finished on time as well. I was very impressed with the neatness of the work area upon completion of the workday every day. Not one scrap of building material or trash left behind. Very organized and detail oriented. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the entire structure. It’s now safe, secure and inviting. I am very happy and delighted with my new deck. I highly recommend.

DAU did a deck addition around my house. Drake is professional, attentive to my ideas, knowledgeable. The quality of work and timeliness was all part of the professionalism and pride he takes in his work. He communicated clearly so there weren’t any surprises. In early 2023, Drake and his crew replaced and painted 200 feet of my fence according to Serrano HOA Guidelines. The result was an amazingly nice, straight-line fence at a competitive cost. Drake’s communications skills are great, and he followed through on all promised aspects. With some rain delays, he kept me informed of the schedule changes. There was a problem with a gate post for which he quickly came up with a unique solution and fixed it. After this experience with Drake, I would not hesitate to contact him about any other home construction needs I might have in the future. At the least he could provide advice. DAU Construction has my highest recommendation.
