We recently had the pleasure of working with Andy Heilman and his team on building a new deck for our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The Heilman Construction crew consistently showed up on time and maintained a clean and safe work site. They communicated with us on a regular basis, and kept us apprised of progress and delays (which were minimal). The quality of their work was exceptional. Every detail of the deck, from the foundation to the finishing touches, was handled with the utmost care and precision. Heilman Construction takes great pride in their craftsmanship, and the end product is a beautiful, sturdy deck that we will enjoy for many years to come. Communication was another strong point. Heilman construction did a superb job replacing a two decades old not-to-code deck, with a fabulous new deck. Andy’s team is professional, punctual, and detail orientied from the very beginning to the end. Team was responsive and courteous. Work crew were respectful and skilled. Heilman Construction didn’t just go above and beyond, they went far, far out of their way to initiate, execute and complete a deck project that was a pivotal need at a crucial time. From the initial estimate, to the execution of the work, to the completion of the work and cleanup, they couldn’t have done a better job. The new deck is vastly more stable then the previous one, built with modern methods and with an eye on safety for my wife and grandkids. My wife couldn’t be happier with Heilman for all that was done to make our deck a perfect time for the latter portion of her life. Highly recommend them.

We had a happy experience with Heilman Deck and Fence from the very beginning till the very end. All team members we worked with are nice, skilled people who care, and that’s kind of rare these days. Andy offered the most detailed and clear quote, and patiently answered all our questions (we had a ton of them!). The whole crew, Tim, Chris, Malek and Matt, did a great job building a huge (1600 sq. ft) deck and a chain-link fence. We commnicated a lot of details with Tim throughout the building process, and appreciated his professional advice and suggestions on many occasions. When we had any concerns, they were always taken care of in a timely manner. Overall, if you want a great workmanship for a reasonable price along with stress-free communication, these guys are the ones!

They showed up exactly when promised, finished the day they said they would, and left absolutely not trace! Even though our side gate required some clever engineering, they figured it out and made it work. The bid was detailed and matched to final bill to the penny. I wish all contractors did business like this.

My new fence completes the transformation of my patio. It was well built and I needed another fence repaired(picket) and they took care of it with a minimum add on. Very happy with results

Our front porch, stairway, and railing replacement project was completed on time and budget consistent with our plans and preferences and Andy’s suggestions during our initial consultation. The quality of work and materials, timeline for start and completion, and level of communications were quite responsive to our needs and expectations.
