I arranged with Norma to clean a vacant unit. She sent the cleaner to the wrong unit (a unit that had already been cleaned a week ago). I expected this would be a simple issue of having someone come out and clean the correct unit. Instead she refused to have the correct unit cleaned, and refused to issue a refund.

I’m posting this review just to give anyone who is considering purchasing a Groupon for this company a head’s up. I purchased a Groupon for 5 hours of cleaning with two people. Read the fine print carefully, to ensure that my specific needs were not excluded and would not be an issue. The Groupon value is $240, the price I paid was $189. When I called to schedule a clean – the person I spoke with refused to communicate through text or email (anything that documents anything) and would only speak by phone. That was the first red flag. When I did speak with them they tried to get me to cancel my Groupon and just pay them directly, which is something I’ve encountered before from shady businesses who want free advertising Groupon provides without having to pay the commission Groupon charges for that advertisement. I understand they take a pretty big portion, but don’t use the service if you’re just going to try to guilt or manipulate customers into paying additional (they would only honor the Groupon if I paid another $100 directly to them, plus tip). It’s predatory practice, plain and simple.

They don’t show up at the time and date they make an appointment for, and don’t even have the decency to call or e-mail to let the customer know.
