WD Doors by George was one of four garage door installers I contacted. They were the only one to work with me regarding a tight budget, with options for installing a used door, and several new types with a price point I could manage. The technicians had to work with a low-clearance construction and created a two-track solution that works very well – Vichit Xeko and Caden Willis: Thanks! Because the garage dates back 60+ years, there’s no power, so manual lift, and the guys had to return and add a locking lift handle. It’s all good!

Wonderful customer experience! From the initial call with Megan, I shared that our garage door cables were loose and the door wouldn’t open. Megan was confident that is was a broken spring, it would be a routine fix and explained the issue clearly. She set realistic expectations about the schedule, which I appreciated. Caden Willis and Vichit Xeko went above and beyond by working me in at the end of their day. They even waited patiently for me to arrive even though I wasn’t home when they called. They replaced the broken spring quickly and efficiently, explained the repair process, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. They were professional, friendly, and cleaned up any mess.

Today I called “Garage Doors by George” to have my garage door repaired. I was greeted by a lady who said the company is now owned by WDdoor. She was able to schedule me the same day that afternoon. At the appointed time the tech ( named Vichit, he said to call him V ) arrived and began to work on the door. A cable on one side of the door had broken where it attached to the door. V was very friendly, worked quickly and carefully and answered all my questions. Within 20 minutes the new cable was assembled and replaced. We ran the door up and down several times to test the repair and all worked fine. From this wonderful experience with the “new company” I would recommend them just as I would have recommend the previous owner – Garage Doors by George.
