Jim and his team have done a number of jobs for us in our house over the last few years including adding an extension on our house, multiple bathroom remodels, basement remodeling after signifcant water damage, mold removal and protection from 3 bedrooms, new driveway and front railing and more. There isnt a job too small or large and we plan to use him for even more work including a kitchen remodeling and backyard redo with pavers. They do excellent work – top quality, code compliant, and always thinking about how to protect from future damage (esp water). I’d be happy to be a reference for anyone who contacts TruTek for work and i highly recommend them.

Jim and the team at Tru Tek were excellent to deal with – Jim’s knowledge of what’s needed, and what’s not needed truly helped us plan correctly – to repair damage after a large flood. Highly recommend his loyal labor team who was professional and talented. We will call again if any construction is needed in future.

When we moved into our new house Tru-Tek Construction helped us with a number of jobs to remodel, upgrade and repair the house, including laying new floors, painting, electrical work, rebuilding the deck, installing new stair railings, removing a wall, remodeling a bathroom and moving and repairing the indoor and outdoor plumbing. Jim, the owner, was directly involved in planning out, designing and overseeing the work and was always very responsive. His team was professional and had the knowledge and skill set to perfectly execute our vision and solve any problems that came up. They were respectful of our house and always cleaned up after themselves. I will be using Tru-Tek Construction for future jobs at my house and would highly recommend them to others.

I was introduced to Trutek this past winter. We were relocating to Long Island and needed a company of all trades. They recommended a home inspector and after getting several disturbing inspection reports we finally found a house that we loved. Jim and his crew helped get us into our in a matter of weeks which included several tricky situations. I can’t thank Trutek enough for what they have done for us and continue to do for us!!!

Have worked with Tru-Tek for almost 20 years. From mold remediation to a small tile job to 3 bathrooms remodeled over time, kitchen renovation and ultimately building the two-story extension on my house. Always high quality work, trustworthy consistent employees, and now use for maintenance and repair- plumbing, electric issues etc. Highly recommend.

Jim and his team are excellent. They did a whole-house renovation for us, including mold and asbestos remediation. They finished on time and did excellent work. We appreciated their input along the way, especially when the renderings from our architect didn’t look like they yielded great space when Jim’s team went to frame the walls. By calling us in to look before they carried on, we were able to re-work two rooms to better fit our vision. They are knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and very reliable. When we’ve called them for things that needed addressing quickly, they’ve always responded quickly, and the few times we’ve called for non-urgent odds and ends now that our big project is done, they are still great about squeezing us in quickly. Jim really builds longstanding relationships, and is a pleasure to work with!
