Silverlining Roof and their crew did a fantastic job replacing our roof recently. Out of the 5 quotes we received , it was the most competitive and walker promised to finish the job in a day. On the day of the replacement, i had to travel for work but Walker provided me regular updates throughout the day and even sent me photos to show progress. He and his crew were throughly professional throughout the process, cleaned up the area after the installation and left the place on time after finishing the job in a day. Where do I start? They went above and beyond our expectations. We took a long time deciding (got numerous estimates) who to hire to give our home a new roof. Silverlining Roofing was extremely patient with us. We were extra cautious and they promptly answered any questions (there were many on different occasions) that we had. We needed our whole roof re-sheeted because our previous roof company said they had re-sheeted but never did. The process to redo our roof took approx two days. Not only did we get a new roof but Walker was able to take some sag out of our previous shiplapped roof by shimming/adding some joist supports in the garage area. Long story short, our new roof looks amazing without sag! We chose the Landmark Pro product in Max Def Black Moire’ to match our black trim, gutters, and doors. We also had moisture issues in the attic due to our insulation company blowing too much R60 insulation in the attic a few years back before the pandemic and not properly ventilating. Silverlining was able to solve the issue by removing the old plastic square vents (x8) and replacing them with a ridgeline vent in the roof peak and adding additional bird blocks (vent holes under the eaves) and proper baffles where they were needed. Because of this, our attic is now ventilated properly and our garage is now cool during the warmer months (the garage used to be an oven). We made a special request during the re-roofing process to remove the old unused furnace and water heater vents (we had our furnace and water heater moved to the garage) and to install three new flap vents for future upgrades to the bathrooms (4″ fan vents x2) and kitchen (6″ stove blower vent x1). They were able to accommodate us and work around our extra additions to the project. Our chimney was reflashed in black and matches perfectly. Lastly, after the work was complete they cleaned up properly and rolled a huge magnet around the house a few times to grab any residual nails left on the ground. The licensing/bonding/insurance info they provided about their business checked out and we would not hesitate doing business with Silverlining Roofing in the future. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Walker arrived wearing a clean uniform and demonstrated the product (showing us choices and letting us actually touch what we would be getting installed). We were even able to see what the ridgeline vent would look like on the shingles with the product model sample. Thanks for a great looking and fully functional new roof!
