Shane, at A Step Above Kitchen & Bath, has exceeded our expectations for our cabinets. From the design, to the completed kitchen and bathroom cabinets, we could not have asked for a better experience. Shane has not only helped with the numerous custom Amish choices, he also designed a built-in for the refrigerator. He always went above and beyond. Shane is by far one of the best people we have ever worked with. He is accommodating and very professional. The cabinets are some of the highest quality we have seen. Do not use this company. We ordered cabinets several months ago, we originally dealt with Eric and found him to be very dishonest and quick to put the fault on the customer instead of taking responsibility for his inability to design our kitchen correctly. We then started dealing with Shane, once the cabinets arrived and were being installed we noticed many issues, cabinets were not uniform, cabinets that we didn’t order were installed, a cabinet too large for an area, chipped paint on several cabinets, the island is completely crooked. Shane came to look at the cabinets and again was quick to try to place blame on us . They are very rude they are dishonest they are completely unprofessional. We have since learned that not one of these people have any experience in cabinet design or cabinet installation. We have yet to have a resolution to all of these issues and to be a complete jerk they canceled our countertop order and still hold our money. I will attach pictures of how cheaply made these cabinets are. You can go to a box store and get better quality cabinets right off the floor, these cabinets are painted builder grade cabinets.
