Rochman Design-Build 8 years agoRochman Design-Build built a major addition onto our house in 2014-15. It was space designed for an elderly parent that could later become a first floor master suite and family room. Our goals and desires for the design were carefully listened to and the final result is spectacular. Our site presented many challenges, as it sits on the edge of a ravine, and there was little level space available, either for access by earth-moving equipment, or for storage of materials. That required a great deal of creativity on the part of the foundation crew and our lead carpenter. Communication, so important to us, was consistent throughout the project. We knew what was going to happen every week and we were kept current on costs as the project moved forward. The high quality of the work and attention to detail was apparent throughout the project. We felt that everyone in the company was interested in making sure that the project came together well and in doing the best possible job. RDB was also very considerate of our neighbors throughout the project; we have received many compliments about the design and how well it fits into the neighborhood. We are very pleased with our new addition and would happily work with RDB again!

Perkins Construction Company 5 months agoOn the phone was told a finished basement of about 700 sq ft would be $140,000 and will only go up the future, I think I will get a 2nd opinion.

Omega Construction Of Michigan, LLC 3 days agoWould never use this company. Charged us $400 just to give us an estimate. Just based on that alone I would never work with them. This contractor wants like twice as much as a lawyer for his time. Couldn’t have spent more than half an hour on this. Resulted in a 90k-175k estimate. I asked about other options and he basically said you’d need to check with the city on if it’s allowed… I thought I was paying him $400 for expertise and he just danced around different questions saying you could do things without giving any solid answers. Way more than any even general estimates if you look it up online. Basically feel like I got ripped off for $400.

Momentum Construction LLC 3 months agoMomentum stripped down a dated sunroom addition we had and rebuilt a beautiful, modern multipurpose room. The entire experience was exceptional – from the first meeting through to the final completion of the punch list, the team was professional, responsive, and attentive to detail. The project tracking software they use made everything, including budget, easy to follow and our Project Manager was extremely accessible and on top of things and the owners were available whenever needed. It never felt like we had to chase on anything. The quality of the work is top-notch and we had no budget surprises throughout. They were clearly committed to helping us achieve the outcome we wanted for the project. Highly recommend!
