My house exterior in Piedmont needed painting after 25 years. I searched on-line review services and talked to friends for references. There were good references for CertaPro Berkeley online and a good friend had used CertaPro with good results. The Owner, Soumil Amin, walked the perimeter with me, pointed out some issues I hadn’t seen, then prepared a very detailed estimate. My house is multi-level so required scaffolding. The crew that did the work was very professional, they were very careful with the landscaping, cleaned up everyday, and did a great job with the painting. The work took about a week. The foreman, Juan, spoke to me everyday about the schedule and work to be done. The house looks fantastic and I have already made two referrals. I highly recommend this local business. They are licensed and insured which gave me peace of mind.

We used CertaPro to paint the exterior of our new house. Their bid was very competitive, but they went above and beyond in several ways which warranted a review 🙂 They provided a colorist to help choose the colors of our house which was VERY helpful. We went with one of the colors they suggested. Additionally, the team was amazing. I had several questions during the process and Deon was super pro-active answering them in a way that I understood. The actual painting team was also an utter delight, very open to feedback and minor changes in the order Lastly we had a bit of an issue with how the paint on the door dried and they came back promptly and resolved it. A++, 5/5 🙂

We have used Certapro Painting for inside and outside jobs. They are professional, easy to work with scheduling, no worries about safety in your home and overall a pleasure to work with! And they are super clean and respectful of garden and inside areas. They are the Best! In fact I am in need of some painting now and I am calling CertaPro of Berkeley!

Very happy with this company, from the estimator, Deon Fouche, to the crew, Orlin, Mario and Luis, who did the painting, everyone was professional, courteous, pleasant and did an excellent job. They came back for some touchups without questions. I definitely will hire this company again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Soumil and his team were fast but maintained attention to detail and tidiness throughout the job both inside and out. Not the cheapest option but I’ll pay a bit more for a professional job because it’s worth not having to chase down contractors to fix or finish a job they started. Highly recommended service and would use him again.

CertaPro does the best prep work, the finest brush work, and the cleanest cleanup. You can’t do better. I wish I had figured this out years ago.
