We have lived here in Spring Hill, FL for 24 years and it was time to have new landscaping done in our front yard and around our pool. We called Brandon to have him come and give us an estimate for the various flowers and plants we needed. Brandon was at our house within a few days and was very attentive in listening to us and what we wanted. His professionalism, as well as his expertise and skills showed through in the advice and guidance he gave us. Our vision of what we wanted was realized when Brandon, together with his team consisting of Eric, Robert and CJ completed the work. We recently hired Unique Landscaping for a garden wall. It was the best decision/choice we could have made. We were a bit overwhelmed with no real vision of what to do in our backyard. Brandon took his time to listen to us and suggest design ideas which was exactly what we needed. I requested a quote from Brandon on a referral. He suggested a idea then I got a 20k+ Bid. 7k to level and remove dirt from 2 large beds. 2k for crushed rock installation and he told me rock was 800 so 1200 for labor. Then he informed me to lay on castle rock brick wall was $10 a brick When I questioned pricing he was unprofessional telling me all his expenses and equipment cost. I spoke to one if his ex-employee who I met he paid him 13hr so I ask how many brick could you lay in a hr he said 20 or so to level them. So that is 200 he charges pays his employees 13hr he sure has a bunch of overhead. I was told his work is nice but if you don’t have 20k for a job that he was telling me would not be complete as Murphy sod would be 1.10 a square ft and he was 2.00. He even went on to say when another company quoted me 19k for 2 project one at a rental gave me a outrageous bid he knew why no one would work with me. I got other bids he was not close to cost just recommended. I leave very few negative reviews but this gentle really needs to take scrutiny on pricing and understand that 20k does come easy to people and that you can you can shear a sheep 1000 times but only gut it once. Make a little a lot of times with a great reputation. After reading your response it is you who does not under stand that it not out of budget it is out of reason I talked to 3 other business owners that agreed. My review was warning people to bid the job as you are not the only person doing quality work and when questioned you insulted a potential client and I am the immature one here please grow up young buck. Again as I stated you want to make big money and offer no value to your pricing to get more business you are a short sited young man with dilutions of grandeur.
