I scheduled Dan to complete a project at my home. He is very busy, so in July, 2021 we scheduled 3 months out, October was the original date to begin a 2-3 day project. So Dan was scheduled to do work at my house October 28-30th 2021. On August 4th, he texted me, he explained that he was in the process of using a new calendar and made a mistake in scheduling. He was double booked for my our scheduled date. He asked if we could push out to December. I accepted his request to change the dates to December 7-10th. In his text he said “I have it, you’re guaranteed those days”. On November 8th I texted Dan to confirm he would be there on December 7-10th. He checked his calendar, and on November 15th he texted me back and said “Those dates are on my calendar. See you in December” Then on November 30th, one week before he was to begin this project, (2 weeks after he confirmed) through text he informed me that he was moving out of the area, that he would be too far to to service my area and that I should find someone else to do the work. Now I do not know if Dan does great work or not, he was referred to me by a neighbor. I do know that the manner of how he handled this with me was very unprofessional. I write this review to inform others that if Dan wants you to wait 2,3,4 months to begin a project because he is busy, you might want to have a back-up plan.

Dan will say one thing and then do another. He presented himself as this reliable quality guy. Then he never showed up on time and didn’t call ahead to cancel.

Dan came right out to see what I had on my list. He fixed everything that I asked him to fix. He’s been doing this for years and is very confident. He has seen everything. Thanks Dan The Handyman!

My parents are coming out for Christmas. I own my home and I needed many repairs, and painting done before they get here. So I was in need of a handyman. I looked up Dan the handyman and I chatted about what needed to be done. We came up with a plan and the work he did was amazing. I absolutely reccomend Dan for all your needs to do list. All five stars.
