We were looking for an honest and sensible opinion, to repair or to replace our moisture-damaged laminate floor. Ben responded with a visit within 24 hours and provided us with the financial pros and cons. He gave us a tip for DIY and we did not feel pressured to spend money unnecessarily. Ben with Dr. Floor and his team did an amazing job bringing our engineered flooring back to life. We were considering getting all new flooring. I seen the online Google reviews for Dr. Floor and I decided to give them a call. Ben and his team come out and WOW, these floors look better than they did day one. Prior to calling Dr. Floor the floors had deep scratches and the color was scraped off in several places. Furniture had been dragged across the apartment floor leaving several deep scrapes and causing floor damage. Ben and his team restored our floors back to their original beauty! Photos are taken after Dr. Floor restored them. Dr. Floor was on time, professional, and the price was great. I’m so happy with the outcome. Thank you so much.

Ben saved my floor. We had a flooring guy install glue down engineered hardwood and he got glue everywhere on the floor and did not clean up properly. He came in and saved us from probably having to tear up the floor and start over. He even showed us on one piece of the floor before he did the job on the rest of the house.

I just finished meeting Bencasso at our home for an estimate about water damage to our hardwood floor, and I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience. I would recommend him and Dr. Floors to anyone needing a professional opinion, because rarely do you see contractors this honest and advocating for the customer. Rather than recommending a costly repair, he advised that the problem could be improved and potentially completely remedied by simply drying and dehumidifying the affected area on our own. Full story below. We just moved into a new home, and we didn’t realize it, but there were small amounts of water leaking from the refrigerator onto the natural hardwood floor underneath. It caused water damage in terms of swelling and cupping of a few of our hardwood planks. This was a bit heartbreaking because the floor had been beautifully installed years ago, and suddenly we had a couple of warped planks that were quite noticeable. As new homeowners, any major surprise repair is obviously difficult news. When we called Dr. Floors, Bencasso visited and inspected the floor thoroughly, took humidity measurements, explained his observations, and immediately told us he had good news. He let us know that the cupped planks would improve with urgent dehumidification and drying. Other professional opinions have suggested sanding down and refinishing our entire floor (this would be several rooms) to address the issue, a huge and costly project. And I understand their rationale. But not one suggested trying out this low-stakes DIY remedy, the way Bencasso did, so I wanted to acknowledge this. Rarely do you see businesses who are honest to the degree of passing up making a sale, especially in the home repair contracting world. So I just wanted to share my story about our unique positive experience. I recommend Bencasso and his company to anyone looking for an advocate and an honest and knowledgeable opinion about their flooring situation. Also, he was very personable, respectful, and someone I enjoyed talking with.

I cannot recommend the Floor Doctor enough. The team was so responsive and made a very last minute trip to help us an issue we were having with our wood floors. He was extremely knowledgeable, made recommendations along every price point that addressed our immediate problem vs out long term goals for our house. 10/10 would recommend!
