We own a 115 year old home with hardwood floors and old growth redwood trim on the main floor. When Ken came to give us an estimate on the floors we asked if he could also repair our redwood trim as it also needed help. He took on that job as well as the oak floors and the results are fantastic. Family dogs had seriously scratched some anreas and age and sunlight had affected other areas. After Ken and his crew sanded filled repaired and oiled our redwood it look almost brand new! And the oak floor refinish was also splendid. Ken really loves wood and is committed to doing the refinish right!

Ken and his team installed a new Brazilian Cheery floor in my home over 10 years ago and it is still looking beautiful. He even made a special custom heater vent return that no other company would do. I recently used another company that to add some additional floors to match those Ken installed after Ken said due to supply issues he could not get the same floors. I should have waited. The new floors have already warped and I was told the floor are inferior wood, not the same. I should have waited for Ken. I trust him.

Ken and his team were the best I could have ever asked for. They took on my house, gave me a quoted time and finished by that time. My floors look amazing and I know it was quality wood and work he did. I am thankful to him and his work! He’s also personable and a funny guy. Thank you Ken!

Ken Yee is the man. He brought in a much higher quality manufactured wood floor than the one I found. He put in a high-quality expensive brand and a very expensive cork soundproofing, but the pricing is incredible. He is a nice guy who put up with a lot of issues I had and although he should have charged me extra-he did not.

Ken was great on a short turnaround with multiple visit needed (we had furniture to move and store in various rooms which required them to finish half the house first before shifting furniture to allow for the other floors to be redone). Great stuff and would recommend!

Ken and his crew did a great job refinishing our wood floors on a tight deadline. I contacted Ken about refinishing our floors, and I told him I needed it done in the next few weeks. Ken was awesome! He gave me a quote and got his crew in within the week. We had some water damage in the kitchen that they were able to sand out. They also created custom wood pieces to give a slow rise between floors with slightly different heights (a project the original wood floor installer said was not possible). In the end, the floors looked brand new! We were exceedingly pleased with the result, price, and timeliness. Ken can be a little difficult to contact. I found that email worked best. But, honestly, any difficulty was well worth it; his price for quality work is unmatched.

Agree with Patricia, Tracy, Eric and Paul’s Yelp reviews and wanted to add another objective review. The FLAKIEST of all contractors. This is what you should expect: 1. Chronic miscommunication (lying). 2. Delays with no explanation (lying about work dates & finish dates to everyone, in Cantonese & English). 3. More lying by the owner, Ken, who says he is working at your place right now…but you are home, and he definitely isn’t. 4. Even more lying when he gets caught. He says he just stepped out 20 minutes ago to get supplies. You waited there all day, and he definitely never came. Confirmed with security cameras as well. 5. STILL doesn’t show up for days. 6. Shady games played by the office woman Sandra, who agreed to a 20% discount on timely payment for the runaround Ken finally admitted to. But they try to only give you 10% off of the timely payment price instead. I know they are not the best at communicating in Cantonese or English, but what gives? 7. The customer is supposed to put up with this, but they still get to be fussy about payment. No credit card payments are allowed lest they lose a percent or two. Sorry guys. Wish this weren’t all true, but people who deal with them regularly know. I’m sure you’ll figure it out if you try talking to the main guy.
