Had two technicians come out to check my ac unit.The pipes were frosting up at the furnace. I pay consumers appliance repair monthly. First one didn’t even take the access door off to access the coils due to water heater being in the way.checked for leaks. “Been doing this for 32 years, just turn ac off and back on once the pipes unfreeze” he said. So I became a google hvac master tech and took it upon myself to take my furnace apart. Noticed the coils needed to be cleaned and called a different technician out. Figured I pay for the service, mine as well use it. Much nicer gentleman . But also said the coils need to be cleaned but the water heater was in the way. So I bought some coil/radiator cleaner and a brush, got my shop vac out and cleaned the coils myself without moving the water heater. Took 20 minutes. The long part was all the screws putting my furnace back together.AC is colder than its ever been.

Josh is a wonderful person and did an amazing job of meeting my needs for air conditioning he worked with me and figured out the best plan for me and was always available and did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it… highly recommend lyons heating and cooling

A technician came to my house and told me I had to replace my furnace and quote me out for $4200 and I ended up calling another technician and found out that the technician didn’t put a part back in my furnace and it was releasing gas once the other technician came and turn on the gas valve and then Lyons technician calls me a few hours later to tell me of his mistake. The other technician said everything was fine and he was able to get my furnace certified for the city. Lyons technician could have put us in a very dangerous situation. That was very unethical of him to try to get me to replace my furnace when everything was fine.

Scott was amazing.. He explained what was wrong so I could understand and he fixed the problem. Which was an easy inexpensive fix. We were told the day before by Holland that it couldn’t be fixed and we needed a new central air unit and furnace for a cost of almost $16,000… Lions Heating & Cooling are honest and I will never call anyone else…. Ask for Scott… He’s very knowledgeable and we are very thankful they sent him!!!
