Ruggles Cafe & Bakery is a casual little cafe spot located close by to the main Rice Village arcade plaza. Parking can be tricky at times in the small lot, but you can find legal parking in the nearby strips and walk over. Make sure to visit on Wednesdays for their dinner specials (5pm – 10pm). Any salad, sandwich, or pasta off the menu along with a drink and dessert for only $12.95! So many menu options available for you to sample one by one. There are no words capable of describing how amazing Ruggles’ baked white chocolate bread pudding is though. Make sure you order one before they run out for the day!

Wasn’t aware that the breakfast tacos are simply scrambled egg tacos – bacon is more of a suggestion than a filling. I think that my wife and I managed to assemble around 1/3 of a rasher of bacon from both tacos from the sprinkling of bits of bacon that were in there… as well as a passable fruit salad. It is fairly obvious that the staff didn’t care. Looks like Sunday morning is a bad time to go there.

Ok I didn’t believe the hype, but choc chip cookies are my absolute favorite and I’ve traveled far and wide for them. BELIEVE the hype about Ruggles Cafe Bakery!! It’s all true – the best cookie I’ve ever had – bar NONE. And everyone inside is patient and friendly. Stand in the line – it’s worth every minute !

The BEST cookies in the city! it’s big and gooey on the inside. the line was pretty long during the weekend,however they move pretty fast,no worries. I recommend the dark chocolate cookie with choc chip, and chocolate chip with walnut.

Mo the evening manager was no help in disputiing a duplicate charge on my credit card. ..told me to call my credit card company instead and just claim it Pretty disappointed bc I love the food here wont be going back any time soon as it leaves a sour taste with the cust svc as is

Waited 40 mins for a huge disapointment it was dropped to my outside table arrogantly. The simple burger and fries were disgusting I had to use a napkin to mop dry the grease the fries were slick and greasy unbelievale inedible _ I ate the burger and on exiting took the fries untouched to whom I was told was in charge – she could not care less just said adios
