Who knew a new deck could feel this good! I had a small deck when I first purchased my home. I could barely fit two chairs and no space for dogs. I was referred by a friend to LHdecks as they said they did a great job on their deck and they loved it. They came out and gave me a free estimate and were very honest and helpful with all of my questions and requests. They completed the project fairly quickly and I am so pleased with the results! I can now enjoy my backyard view with lots of space for my plants, furniture, dogs and friends. They even built me a custom planter box at a low additional cost! Highly recommended for customer service, honesty, fair pricing and quality work.

Do not recommend. Deck project completed couple months ago. Generally built ok (C-) but they failed to include key blocking and bracing, according to building codes and other builders. Concrete crew provided very nice under deck patio and went extra mile and used excess dirt to assist in desired landscaping for owner. Blocking and bracing not added causing notable unstable bounce feel to the deck; will have to self add. When called, LH Decks said they would have to charge more to add common blocking/bracing and finish. Many dropped screws, including driveway. Board forgotten under deck, causing board on top to wobble out of position. Approx 160 omitted screws (so far). Poorly installed banisters. Some poor wood selection with pronounced curved warped board very visible on bannister top. Poorly added wood filler fix attempt. Trash left in 7 – 8 trash bags left on site. Dirt dumped in yard border. Concrete work did not allow for any drainage around A/C units. Above = lots unforeseen owner work and expense. Dropped to 1 star, as full amount of required work on my part becomes more apparent. Spending $25K+ but having to finish the project ourselves is extremely frustrating.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at L&H to have a deck built at my home. From start to finish, their professionalism was unmatched. The team was prompt and efficient in their work, and they paid close attention to every detail. Their attention to detail was evident in the final product, as the deck was built to perfection. Not only were they skilled craftsmen, but they were also a pleasure to work with. They were friendly and respectful, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the finished product. Definitely recommend Jeff and his crew! Knowledgeable, talented, accessible, neat, responsible etc! We had an existing deck that needed new steps (and relocation), all new boards, new railings, new support posts and doors. They did a beautiful quality job for us and it was a pleasure to work with them!

I don’t usually review businesses but I have been so pleased with this company I had to. I shopped around for a quote on completely rebuilding my back porch and once I spoke with them I knew they were the one. I wanted to put a hot tub on my porch and no other company talked to me about the necessary reinforcement needed to do it with the extra weight it would be holding. Other companies just gave me a price and walked away but LH Decks and More walked me through the work needed and explained why and gave me a great price. Once I hired them they set a time line for the work being completed and were always punctual and efficient each day. I had a lot of questions throughout the process which I know can be a pain and seem like a nuisance but everytime I called I got an answer or a very timely call back and they were always more than happy to answer my questions so I always knew what was going on. Their name says it all too! I talked to the owners to get my deck done but I also have a lot of renovations in my house I want to do and they can do it all. If you need work done definitely call them. You won’t regret it.

I got a lot of quotes and the reason I went with LH is because they were responsive. The other guys I had to call and try to track down. It was pleasant to use a company that was available when I need some questions answered.
