Rafael and his team at RH Construction and Structural did excellent work in the crawlspace of my 1940’s home to retrofit it as part of the Earthquake Bolt and Brace program. In addition they replaced posts and repaired foundation cracks. They completed the work efficiently in 2 days, got all the paperwork needed completed for the program and permit, and communicated quickly and answered all my questions. The price estimated was reasonable for the work, and they included some additional post and crack repair without charging extra. I’d highly recommend Rafael and RH Construction and Structural for any home structural or construction work you need.

Rafael and his team did a great job with the earthquake retrofit work on our home that was built in ~ 1947. They were able to complete the work in one day. Did a great job and left the worksite clean. He provided an estimate that was a good price for all of the work that they did. Rafael was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was quick to communicate and complete the retrofit project in a timely manner. He assisted with filing and uploading the documents needed for the EBB program. This made everything so seem less on my end. I found Rafael and his RH Construction and Structural business via the California Brace & Bolt program that was offering residents grants to help pay for bolting and bracing homes to their foundations. I decided on Rafael because he gave me confidence in him that he would do the job without any problems. The whole process of working with the City and State was handled very expeditiously. There were lots of “gate”s to pass through. The job was well done and the grant $ were received.

I decided to take advantage of the Earthquake Bolt & Brace (EBB) program for financial assistance to enhance the structural integrity of my house. I found RH Construction (Rafael) via another contractor I know and Rafael was listed in the EBB directory. Rafael did a great job adhering to all of the requirements of the EBB and he helped coordinate the planning and inspection for the city of Morgan Hill. He did such a good job, I’ve asked Rafael for an estimate for another job at my house.

Rafael and team are subcontractors on an earthquake brace and bolt project – they cleaned up after themselves every day and are super communicative! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is lucky enough to get them to come out to work on a project; sadly, they seem to be in high demand.
