They dug up my yard and killed my grass and then showed up unannoced to install Google Fiber on my house but I didn’t order that or ask for it.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This company is acting as a contractor for Google Fiber. They have been to my house a dozen times to “fix” the connection that they botched the install for in the first place, and it still isn’t resolved. They’ve torn up my yard twice now – broken curbing, trashed lawn and flower beds. COMPLETELY unprofessional in my interactions with them….I don’t know from which rock these guys crawled out from under, but they are dishonest, rude, and wildly incompetent. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

SCI is acting an contractors for Google Fiber. In the last week SCI employees have shown up unannounced 4 times to do work related to install. On two of those occasions, I’ve found them in my backyard. Just unlatched the chain holding my gate closed and let themselves in. I finally explained to the latest team that this is the dictionary definition of trespassing. Plus I frequently let my dog into my yard, and he is NOT good with strangers. Don’t think he’s bite but really don’t want to find out.

They are installing google fiber on our street right now. They are constantly double parking their trucks and having conversations with each other as they block the street. We live on a Narrow street with children and I just saw one of their trucks pulling a witch ditch going about 45 miles an hour. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have yelled at him if he got the chance.

SCI just finished installing Google fiber on our street and needed to dig up part of our parking strip and stated they would make it “look nice again”. My wife talked to a couple of their workers to let them know what the parking strip looked like underneath the snow and they again stated they would make it “look nice.” You can see the results here in the before and after image. The dirt that was trenched up was pushed back, mixed with our gravel, in to cover the trench and the stepping stone that was over this spot was broken in the process of moving it.

I’ve served multiple SCI employees at my restaurant for the past three weeks or so, and they have never tipped. I guess this company creates a culture where their employees believe they’re Superior to service staff. If you don’t think restaurant service is worth paying for, make your own lunch!
