I have used Compton fence twice. The owner, Matt is easy to work with. They stick to their timelines and are easy to communicate with. In a world full of giant corporations and empty promises, I appreciate accompany like Compton fence. Like one of the other reviewers stated, they did tighten up my gates after they had settled. I consider myself pretty picky, and they certainly have impressed me.

As a Durham home owner (4x), we had an old wooden fence and gates in disrepair. After a few estimates, we chose Matthew Compton and team and are very satisfied. The winter rain likely helped ease removal of old fencing, but we had to revise the original plans slightly. Compton was regular in their communication, flexible and good with follow-up, the shortest time to completion, and on par with the lowest competitor. My only suggestion is to discuss improving standard hardware since new kits are quite basic. Highly recommend!

We were incredibly impressed by the work that Matt and Compton Fence company did! They were incredibly responsive, efficient, and professional, and I was very happy with how quickly they were able to create a beautiful new fence. They were also able to take out an old chainlink fence that was entangled in plants/weeds, and we are super happy with how everything turned out. Would highly recommend!

Matt and the Compton Fence crew are an absolute pleasure to work with. Product and labor was very fairly priced, and Matt made a point to keep us informed every step of the way. He also came back after a couple months and fixed some settling issues that had arisen after the fence had been built, and made sure everything else was up-to-par. I would recommend him to anyone, and have done so for any of my friends that have asked. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent work and attention to detail. After the job the space was clean. My favorite part are the gate doors, crafted strong with cross lap jointed X to prevent warping. I would not hesitate to recommend Compton Fence to others.
